Terms of Service
Who These Terms Apply To
By visiting this website or requesting services from Coastal Restoration Services Inc, located at 217 E Fesler St, Santa Maria, CA 93454, you agree to the terms described on this page. These terms apply to all visitors, estimate requests, and service engagements. If you have questions before proceeding, call (805) 345-7440 or email [email protected].
Service Area and Estimates
Coastal Restoration Services Inc operates within a defined service area in and around Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Requests from outside that area may not be fulfilled, and submitting a contact form does not guarantee service availability at your location.
Any estimate provided — whether over the phone, by email, or in person — is an assessment based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. It is not a binding contract. A signed work-authorization form is required before any remediation, restoration, or reconstruction work begins. That signed authorization, along with any attached scope-of-work documents, governs the actual service relationship between you and Coastal Restoration Services Inc.
Payment Terms and Accepted Methods
Payment terms are outlined in the signed work-authorization form provided before work begins. Accepted payment methods will be specified at the time of authorization. Work may be paused or rescheduled if payment milestones outlined in the authorization are not met. Coastal Restoration Services Inc operates as a licensed contractor under California state regulations; all work is performed in compliance with applicable CA licensing requirements.
Insurance Coordination
Coastal Restoration Services Inc routinely works alongside homeowners’ and commercial property insurance carriers to document losses, prepare estimates in carrier-compatible formats, and coordinate billing. We will only communicate with your insurance carrier with your explicit authorization. We do not share your personal or property information with any third party without your consent, except as required to complete the authorized scope of work (for example, coordinating with a subcontractor or specialty vendor named in your work authorization).
Insurance coordination does not guarantee claim approval. Coverage decisions are made solely by your carrier.
Scope of Work and Liability
The scope of work performed is limited to what is described in the signed work-authorization form. Conditions discovered after work begins that were not visible during the initial inspection — such as concealed mold growth, structural damage behind walls, or pre-existing code violations — may require a revised authorization and adjusted pricing before work on those items proceeds.
Coastal Restoration Services Inc carries the licensure and insurance required under California law for the work we perform. Our liability is limited to the scope of services described in the signed authorization and does not extend to pre-existing conditions, consequential damages, or decisions made by your insurance carrier.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises from a service engagement, both parties agree to first attempt resolution in good faith through direct communication. If that does not resolve the matter, disputes will be handled in accordance with California law, with venue in Santa Barbara County. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under California consumer protection statutes.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated periodically. The version on this page reflects current policy. Continued use of this website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
